Enabling power, comfort and safety in innovative devices for work, fashion and sport
Project Objective
The RELIABLE project aims to renew and innovate devices for work, fashion and sport through three strategic pillars: enabling power, comfort and product safety. This collaborative applied research involves enterprises and universities in a project synergy focused on Smart Manufacturing, Smart Health, Culture and Creativity.
The Three Pillars
Enabling Power
Device's ability to enable the person in performing activities, with support for intrinsic and extrinsic limitations.
Comfort
Level of wellbeing perceived by the user as a consequence of device usage in a specific situation.
Safety
Device's ability to generate safety in performing activities, preventing debilitating situations.
Transversal Drivers
The project implements three strategic drivers in line with the S3 plan of the Veneto Region:
Digital Transformation
Computational technologies, AI, big data, ergonomics and digital biomechanics for 4.0 design.
Green Transition
Eco-sustainability, recycled materials, circular design, waste minimization and environmental impact.
New Business Models
Sustainable strategies of technical, technological, social and ethical value aligned to Made in Italy.
Application Sectors
RELIABLE involves three strategic specialization areas of the Veneto Region:
- Smart Manufacturing: Innovative devices and processes for the manufacturing sector
- Smart Health: Solutions for wellbeing, safety and assistance at work
- Culture and Creativity: Innovation in fashion and sport sectors
